When the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure 1311 was developed, it recommended using the Whatman Grade GF/F filter. Grade GF/F remains a popular and prominent component for measuring landfill leachate composition with a TCLP test. Other applications include:
